The Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) is a four-year program designed to prepare students for careers in customs and related fields. The curriculum includes general education courses, major-specific courses, and professional training that covers customs laws, procedures, and practices. The BSCA curriculum is designed according to the principles of Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), the K-12 Education Program, and the New General Education Curriculum (NGEC).

  • Customs Broker: Licensed professionals who assist clients with the clearance of goods through customs by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

  • Customs Officer: Employed by government agencies, customs officers enforce laws and regulations related to the import and export of goods, preventing illegal trade and ensuring the collection of duties and taxes.

  • Freight Forwarder: Professionals who coordinate and facilitate the shipment of goods on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with international shipping laws and customs regulations.

  • Import/Export Manager: Overseeing the entire process of importing and exporting goods, these managers ensure that shipments comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and they manage logistics and documentation.

  • Logistics Manager: Responsible for planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between the point of origin and the point of consumption.
